This is a off to thread. You may do this if you need to vent or if you have had a bad day. I went to a doctors office today and I never felt so unimportant in all my days on this earth. 3 hours in a doctors without being called back into a room. We finally get into a room and we waited another 45 minutes and nothing no doctor no nurse no nothing. We left. I was not going to be treated like a load of toliet paper. This concludes my rant for this thread. Oh yes, I got on the phone with my doctors office and said I want a new doctor.

She's right - the wait was incredible, the staff condescending, that thinly padded chair was making my rear end go to sleep!
They acted surprised that we left - I say, if you cannot provide a service I am contracting for, YOU'RE FIRED.Doctors work for us, not vice versa.

Good Attitude!!!  8)  Perhaps they'll get the message!  ::)

Waited a couple of hours today in my Doc's Clinic today, also.  But at least I got to see him!

Do you miss the feeling of innocence that you got when you were a child? Not to worry, simply make an appointment at your local Doctors' office and after speaking with the receptionist and the medical staff you'll soon find yourself back to the days when you were 3 years old and and you will once again have the pleasure of being spoken to as if you were simple minded and unfit to be out alone in public.

You are lucky Mrs. A only 3 hours waiting. Take it as your first experience with obamacare.  In the socialist healthcare you might wait 8 hours and be happy that you will have one minute with doctor.
BTW, they do not use appointments, you will walk in at 8 am and wait. :'(

8 hours sounds like the VA wait.  I went in with my dad and there were 10 people if front of him and some had been waiting 6-8 hours and still waiting for a bed.  My dad said ?screw it? and went in the following morning to see his primary.  The bad thing was that he was there because he had experienced a TIA earlier that day.  Fortunately everything was ok.

Waiting for ER care, been there for hours, yes, but this was a pre-scheduled appointment, set up weeks earlier. If we had been a walk in, I would expect to wait a long time. Not when I have scheduled my life around their appointment.

Sorry meant to add that I can understand the frustration.  I think that is one the most frustrating situations to be in.   Why did they tell me to come in at the time they scheduled me if they aren?t going to see you until it is convenient for them.  At least have the common courtesy to see how the patient is doing.  It?s really unacceptable.  I have been tempted to walk and will the next time that happens.

He's not upset with you th3ug1y0n3 sir. He's upset with the situation. Anyway, I called my PCP and they called me the next day with a new doctor and a new appointment. I hope this one turns out better. I know the life of a surg. is stressful. But isn't  it the same if your the patient?

Frustrating experience but that's doctors for you eh? They all seem to talk down to you, see you on their own schedule despite your scheduled appointment time but make sure you get there 15mins early!

Again frustrating experience but your wait time and condecending doctor is not a result of Obamacare.

Yes I know, I was not about to let him talk me down at all. I worked for a doctor back in the day. All he was, was just cheap.
