CZ75 SP01 Shadow Wins Bianchi Production
« on: May 27, 2012, 08:10:57 PM »

I just read on another forum that Vance Schmid has won Production division at the Bianchi Cup
with a score of 1887-118x. He beat the top metallic score in doing so, which is quite an accomplishment.

That's awesome!  The more mainstream CZ's get the better it will be for all of us!

Angus talked to Vance the other day.
Vance said out of a ransom rest, his SP01 Shadow Custom gun is shooting 2.5" at 50 yards.
that is pretty freaking incredible.

Is that stock? or after some fitting/accurizing?

I have 'heard', top of line SIG x6 does 1" at 50yards. Any CZ75 versions that could do 1" at 50yds?

I bet if KKM started making barrels for the CZ that groups equal or better than the SIG X5/X6 series could be accomplished.

Congrats to the winner.

Angus and Eric are working on something :)

I look forward to seeing what you Arizona boys produce. Between CZ Custom and "The Cajun", I smile every time I go to the range.

They are supposed to have some CZ offering sometime this summer.  This is from emails last fall.

Last I heard, they were overwhelmed with current production so it would be a while. I try to send e-mails every couple months just to let them know I am a psycho with money. I suggest other CZ addicts to the same.   ;D

I can tell you from personal experience that my stock 75B poly DA/SA barrel and barrel and slide fit is every bit as good as my 5" SIG X-5, at 1/3 the cost.
CZ-75B 9mm and Kadet, 97B"E", two P-09's, P-07, P-10C, P-10F, P-10S, MTR

Does anyone know what Vance used for ammo. I assume he was hand loading.

Being able to make full use of that accuracy is also incredible.
