Alfa Proj Revolvers
« on: June 18, 2012, 09:41:56 AM »
I'm looking at the Alfa Proj .22 and 38 revolvers that CzechPoint sells. I see they are marked BRNO on the barrel. Are they CZ? I can't seem to find much info on them. They look nice and the price is great. Anybody out there have any solid opinions? Alloy or Steel...any info at all? I've bought thru CzechPoint before-GREAT company, I am just not familiar with Alfa Proj....THANKS in advance

I read a range report on the Alfa revolvers a few months back but do not remember if it was on the forum or another.  Run a search here and see if anything turns up.

With regards to the term Ceska Zbrojovka, run a search here on that as well to understand the gun manufacturing business in the Czech Republic.  Also consult Ramos' book on cZ pistols.  I have a cZ75 that is marked Presne Strojirenstvi, whichPrecision Engineering, and was made in Uhersky Brod.

Going to the website their pistols are very "CZ-ish". I love their .45's. Very interesting. I couldn't find where they are imported to the US.

I had two Alphas, 2261 and 3541, accurate, cheap and reliable. But revolvers are not my favorite weapons.
2261 - 22lr, 6inch barell
3541 - 38/357, 4 inch barell
