The other thing is I probably won't be able to take ownership immediately as I seem to get a delayed response on the back ground checks.  I don't have anything on my background, but I end having to wait three or four days instead of five minutes.

Anyway when I finally get it I will take pics and post my impressions.

For future, I would suggest getting a CCW permit. It will allow you more freedom with the transportation of firearms and there are no background checks. In my state, purchasing a firearm with a CCW is a breeze.

Yea, I know I should.  In my county the wait is stupid and it seems to be more of a PITA than other areas.  It is something I need to do.

Thanks GAC, Waiting on mine. I will post once I pick it up and inspect it. When I ordered Saturday they had 5 left.

GAC you got me to find the CZ Forum and join up. Thanks for this post and my first CZ. I'm coming from a G19 which I absolutely dislike holding in my hand.

Cool.  Glad I was helpful.

Well, USPS attempted delivery on Saturday, but the shop closed early.  I went up to the shop today and USPS did not redeliver the package.  The guys had no idea what I was talking about so I guess they didn't get the missed delivery slip?  I was able to go online and schedule a re-delivery so hopefully it comes in tomorrow.

The downside is I don't know if I can get off early enough to pick it up tomorrow.  I gave them my contact info and told them to call when it comes in.  I also signed up for the delivery confirmation.  The other thing is I probably won't be able to take ownership immediately as I seem to get a delayed response on the back ground checks.  I don't have anything on my background, but I end having to wait three or four days instead of five minutes.

Have you contacted the state agency delaying your background check?
They should be able to tell you why, and may resolvr the issue.

I picked up my "Blemished" P-07 today! I would post pictures, but they are identical to the ones in this thread. There are no blemishes on this gun that I could find. CZ must have ridiculous QC to have failed this gun. There may be a scuff on the top of the slide, but I can only see it in proper light and it is very insignificant. Anybody holding this gun at a gun shop would not hesitate to buy it!

Great deal , I wish I could buy more.

Not state, but federal.  I've done some research and there are several reasons for the delay.  I can either get a carry permit which negates the background check or submit fingerprints and some other info for the Fed to keep on file.  In either case I was not delayed this go around.

I just received mine today.  The only blemish was a scuff on the top of the barrel, the frame and slide look great.. I can't wait to shoot this thing, the single action pull is amazing.  I have a Glock with 2.5lb pull and a CZ75 with a CGW kit and I'm amazed how awesome this stock P07 is compared to them.

mine had scuffs on the top of the barrel and they rubbed off with cleaner. I originally thought it was dropped on the front of the barrel, but it just rubbed off.    Bluish white stuff?

I think mine is like a scrape.  cleaned it but was still there.  BTW, it shot beautiful.  My wife loved it, and was hitting target way more than her Glock.  I only shot one clip and was pretty happy.  Most importantly it doesn't jam with reloads like her Glock.
