Flaw on my NIB P-07 Duty 9mm Threaded

I called CZ and emailed them these images:
I really like the gun but this is kind of a bummer.

I can't believe that got through QC. I bought a blemished Duty and I can't find a thing wrong with it.

Let us know what CZ offers. I would expect them to replace the body.

Well I am dissappointed cause this is my 1st CZ. I do have another P-07 9mm threaded gun on layaway but this is a bummer and I hope that we can fix this quick.

That is a shame! Did you notice it at the gun shop or after you got home? I always look things over before I even fill out the paper work. I've seen alot of damage like that on new guns especially in some of the certain chain stores where they pile the guns against each other in the cases.
I'm sure CZ will make good on it for you.

Sure looks like mishandling, not a defect.  Someone dropped it or something on it that took that chunk out.  I would return it to dealer, not CZ.

As I explained to CZ, it started as a small dot like the size of a ball point pen tip. I always check over guns before I take possession, but this was not seen until I got it home and cleaned. Anyway I was not going to worry about it. The gun is about 2 weeks old, never been fired and I carried it in a holster for the first time yesterday. I used an Uncle Mike's Mirage belt slide holster that I had because it seems easier on the finish (I'm anal about my guns being in near if not perfect until I add the character).
When I got home I removed the gun from the holster (I wore another shirt tucked in and the outer shirt). I noticed the spot was larger and felt like a bubble. It is like a blister when it breaks. It is more noticable now and obviously does not affect the mechanics, but I just got it.
This gun's intended purpose is for off duty carry.

The plastic frame is probably made by injection molding. Sounds like an air bubble formed during the molding process just under the surface which is probably how it made it past QC inspection. Hopefully CZ will do the right thing and repair (if that's even possible) or replace your P-07.

Well I talked to Neal from CZ again today. I have sent the images twice but he stated that he had not received them. So I explained it to him again. His response was that they can accept the gun if I really wanted to send it to them to see what they could do if anything. If not, I could take gun oil and 1000 sand paper and smooth it or pull any excess off with tweezers.
I asked if I were to attempt it myself, would the warranty be void? He stated no not for something like this. So I did it with caution. I did the best I could but I'm still irritated about this. I don't want to send the gun back simply because it is my off duty carry and I have no other gun (except my duty issued Glock, which we are preferred (no SOP on this) not to carry our duty issue).
I guess I may have to live with this and just hope that the 2nd one I have on layaway does not have any cosmetic or mechanical flaws.

Now that you described it better, yes that's a defect for sure.  What did your dealer say, seems they could swap it out for another and let them send it back for repair.
