My 97 shoots well, and is well made, but the slide is significantly taller than my Witness. At first I thought the center line of the bore was higher, but upon further comparison, it's not; the CZ just has more meat on top of the slide, like a little bit of a cone head. Has anyone milled the slide on their 97? It seems like you could take some meat off the top, recess an LPA rear sight, and do some slide cuts while you're at it to end up with a pretty sweet shooter.
Has anyone done this? or had similar thoughts?
