I finally got my VZ this week
« on: September 16, 2012, 10:09:52 AM »
Well the wait is over and I finally picked up my VZ from my FFL, I have yet to shoot her but so far it appears to be everything I had hoped it would be and I'm very impressed by it. Now if I can just make it to the range soon then I can begin the customizing.

Is this one of Dan's 58's or is this a beaver barf 2008?  In any event, pictures are required.  ;D

"Beaver barf" actually refers to the original wood stock - the odd process used made it look like it was wood chips thrown up by beavers in a vat of lacquer. Both CzechpointUSA and Century use those original wood stocks.

It's a Czech Point poly folder. I already have a Bonesteel front handguard, brake, Mako folding stock, 75 round drum. I can't wait I'm going to try to make it out to a range today if I can wrap up some chores around the house first to keep the little woman happy.  ;D

I know what it refers to - I just forgot that Czechpoint offers those stocks.  My mistake. :)
