Lame... but I'm starting to think that suppressors on pistols are overrated... It's a want, that I really don't need. I will still have to wear ear protection while at the range, no need to hide muzzle flash, and it is really too much headache to get a suppressor (applying for tax, finding a threaded barrel, finding a suppressor, cost) for very little in return. I'm actually kinda glad that the barrels are not interchangable because now I'm not tempted to spend money on threaed barrel cost + suppressor cost + tax stamp cost= 1000$+/- Saved!
BLASPHEMY!!!!!!! don't say horrible things like that
seriously, though, if you got the itch...... SCRATCH IT! the "Title II" world is a beautiful place, you will love it here. i do NOT own a silencer, YET. i have to go order mine Thursday. i DO however own a submachine gun. i used to think the same thing: headache, paperworke, etc. then i just dove in and found out that it's actually quite simple. the wait is excruciating
ok.... i have the same gun as you (i think). i have a CZ P-01 and i AM going to put a silencer on it. i called CZ to find out about an extended barrel. they told me to just buy the barrel for the CZ75 and it will be a perfect fit, then to just have it threaded elsewhere (not hard to find places that do that). check out Hunter Town Arms for your can. i am buying one from them. not sure if it is up on their site yet, it's still pretty new, but it is called the Kestrel 9. it is all SS and full auto rated. if you don't need those features, you could always go with the cheaper and lighter Gaurdian 9 (from the same place). the can, booster, transfer, tax, and everything all together..... i'm looking at about 6-7 hunj. small price to pay, man, to have something as kule as that
