Vz58 grip
« on: September 25, 2012, 06:48:53 PM »
The stock vs58 grip is killing my wrist.  I have a small hand but it even seems too short and small for me.   What grip do you guys recommend??

Ironwood designs has walnut stocks and extended grips. I think the price unfinished is 175.00. But you could probably get the grip only if you wanted.

The Fab grip is decent and larger than the OEM one.

How is the grip size making your wrist hurt?

+1 on the Hogue grip. Have it on a AK 74 build.

Which grip are you using specifically?  The red "military" one or the black "poly" one?

I modified a us palm ak grip for my vz.  Its pretty cool, and fills the palm well.

nice, judging by the looks of the grip and angle looks to have a comfortable grip, by the way nice vz..not so sure about the matching duct tape though :)

I use the FAB grip and really like it.

Yesterday I noticed Bone Steel Arms is offering 2 different grips.

The Ace AK/AR adapter can be modded to allow use on the VZ with AR grips, as well.

Ronin's Grips makes a longer VZ-58 grip that retains the look of the original (albeit in black).

What modification is needed in order to fit the Ace/AR adaptor for the VZ?

The adaptor needs to be ground down a bit to fit properly in the VZ grip retaining plate and the AR grip needs to have the bolt hole elongated so it fits up correctly.

10 minutes with a Dremel will get it done.
