Anyone know? Can someone with basically zero knowledge of firearms do this? Thanks fellas!

Oh yeah...how durable is the black polycoat finish?

If you would describe yourself as moderately mechanically inclined, you should be fine.  Technically all you have to do is remove the disconnector to go SAO, but the resulting trigger pull will be the same old stock trigger after the hammer is cocked.  I have used a hammer and trigger from a Tactical Sport with a 13# hammer spring to get a great 2 1/2# SAO pull.  The hammer and trigger are available directly from CZ for about $50 shipped and the spring is just a few dollars from Wolff.  I've used this setup in two Tanfoglios and my Uzi Eagle, but for some reason CZ uses narrow hammers on the standard models so you would have to narrow the TS hammer or use a narrow hammer from CGW, CZC or just the stock SA hammer.

Not exactly. I did that at first and the stock trigger goes all the way forward. You have a real long trigger pull with little resistance (just the trigger spring) until you get get to the sear and then it feels like a SA trigger. You really need the SA trigger to to keep the trigger from going so far forward.

Thanks for the info. I have to figure out which SAO trigger to buy. CGW or czcustom? Is there any benefit installing a new hammer at the same time (as opposed to at a later date)? How much will this all cost? AHHH!

Is installing the hammer easy?

I converted my 75 C to SAO instantly at no cost -- I just don't use the DA.

Here is what I did.
Installed CGWs  hammer & sear kit #2 and spring kit with the 13# main spring and
reduced power firing pin spring.  Along with CZ custom SA flat adjustable trigger
black.
Removed the FPB and disconnecter replaced the FPL with CZs spacer.

Had it at the range today, and all I can say is WOW this pistol is so much more
Fun to shoot.
The trigger pull is very smooth and with a crisp break,  I have no scale so I don?t know
What the pull # is. The trigger pull from fire to reset is about 3/16?

Today it shot every thing I gave it fed. 180jhp, fed. 180fmj
Zeros 165fmj , and Berry?s 155hbrn not one FTF.
And the new rear sights are right on much better for my old eyes  I installed the LPA adjustable.

So thank you Schmeky and CGW for giving me a awesome shooter. And thanks to CZcustom for a great trigger.

I must have it bad.  I cannot imagine how someone could look at that gun and not want one.  That is just oozing CZ awesomeness!
