Painter, the last thing new pistol reloaders usually get around to buying is a chrono. By that time, they don't 'have' any factory ammo.
I was shooting 124 FMJ reloads from a commercial reloader here in TX when I started reloading. They chrono'd at 1100+fps.
Some of the ammo websites will provide velocity information.
My son did run some Wal-Mart WIN 115gr FMJ across my chrono; and 1080' is what pops into mind, but I may be wrong. It
was close to the 125 minimum PF though.
Based on my load build log, I suspect you're just above 125 PF with the 124gr HBRN. 4.1grs at 1.135" gives me (127.8 )--128 PF. My Sig P239 runs fine with these.
edited to correct PF
