Isn't it the same thing as the STI GP6?

Yes, STI did formerly import the K100. The full size version was the GP6 and the semi-compact was the GP5. The K100 is now imported by Century Arms and so far I have only seem them for sale at J&G Sales.

I have the STI GP6C and it's an absolutely great gun. Shoots much better than I can and makes me look good.

Highly recommend them. It's the only gun I like better than my CZ 75B.
Everyone is good at something. I just happen to be a good bad example.

I have the MK100 and my armalite 24 c tactical is finally on the way as well, I should be shooting both sometime next week so we will put them through a beating take some pics and and let you know what we like and dislike. After that if all goes as planned I will pick up 2 more caniks as well and beat them up. So far I have not been disappointed with these purcahse's  All the pistols have performed well. If the fullsize MK100 meets my standards I will probably get a compact for carry.  I get a lot of left handed students of late and most pistols do not have lefty controls . This pistol has lefty mag release, slide stop and decock covering all the bases.

Yep, the K100 is one of those guns you need to try for yourself.

The trigger is way lighter in single action than you would expect.
The single action reset is unusually short.
The felt recoil is unusually mild for a polymer framed 9mm.
The rotary locking barrel is very smooth in operation.

I have been using them since 2007 and am waiting on my third (and possibly fourth and fifth)
(GP K100 Mk5, STI GP6, GP X-Calibur, GP K100 Target, and K22 X-Trim)

So has anyone in the US with a recent Century Arms import checked the magazines? Are they actually 15 rounds, or do they really hold more?  The guns used to have a 17 round magazine.

I just got the P1 mk7 from Buds they were on back order and got it for $419.

The mags holds 16 & I want to order 2 extra but Century Arms has a $75 min order.

As for the Canik I got that about 2 months ago and CZ 75 C mags and full size mags will fit (full will extend out 3/4 inch).

I love both of them, As for a holster for the Gand Power it fits perfect in my Crossbreed made for XD Sub Compact.  :D

Neat guns.  I liked them when STI was importing them.  Wouldn't buy one now that Century got their filthy mitts on them.  Anything that gives CAI a profit is a bad thing in my eyes.

In the last year and a half I have had 2 issues with guns from century arms . One was an sks rifle turnaround was about 6 weeks rifle shot flawlessly when it came back. The other was canik pistol which had less than 500 rounds thru it. They could have repaired it and instead they sent ma a brand new replacement pistol three weeks after I sent it in for repair. I would have no problem dealing with them again. On the subject of the Grand Power mine still shoots fantastic gotta love a pistol that you can rapid fire at an 8 inch pie plate at 10 yards and not miss. I will buy the compact as well. I have not yet had any spare time to do a review on this pistol or the Armalite 24c tactical that I bought due to the re election of Obama and the concern about gun control I am spending way to much time on transfers due to panic buying-look at what it's doing to prices and inventory. The Armalite tactical is another nice pistol and yesterday I found that my CZ SPO1 mags fit right in perfect. Guys if you are considering the grand power pistols I would advise you to buy now before they go up ,I can't keep anything in stock right now and I don't know when this crazy buying will end. Ak' and Ar 's  are practically sold out and there is significant price gouging. I have been interested is a VZ rifle Czeck point is sold out and modestly raised there price so I thought I would check J&G sales for a VZ 2008 Century which used to sell for between $400 to $500 now they are$799.00. I am hoping that after things calm down pricing will come back to where it should be. Brian /EFR
