I guess every distributor is going to have a former customer with an unresolved issue. CAI were cool when they had thier Canadian operation. As a kid I used to drool over thier catalog.  Now it seems some of thier rebuilt rifles have trashed thier reputation.

I trust they will do right by customers buying the Grand Power guns.  I know when STI were distributing the two models, any time STI had trouble keeping customers happy, the factory was dealing direct to make things right.  Between STI and Grand Powers engineering team, they also discovered areas where the guns could be improved.

There is no need to pull the trigger guard out as far as the top video. Please watch the second. It`s not hard to do. The trigger guard is replaceable, and acts as a buffer. The factory suggest every 20K or so.

The barrel weighs 1 1/2 ounces more, but the gun as a whole weighs half an ounce less than my GP6.

Wow. I'm very jelly. CAI needs to step it up and get US X Caliburs as well as the other models. Barring that, road trip to Canada, anyone?

I can think of worse things at moment than a mountain of my American cousins letting Century know how much demand exists.....

I'd hate to think they were asleep on the switch while the Canuckistani's increase the X-Calibur gap....

I would love to have that 45ACP model. According to Vratko McMikulas on Grand Power's FB page -- http://www.facebook.com/pages/GRAND-POWER/134510453303654 -- more GP models are going to be available in the USA market.

July 16, 2013 -- "8 new models have just been approved by BATF, so soon will be available on US market."

Sweet.  Of course, knowing firearm manufacturers, that could be anywhere from 3 to 12 months.    ;)

Personally, the full-auto video I think is a pretty solid testament to the platform's handling of recoil and muzzle-flip.

Yep, the .22lr and .380ACP models have not yet been approved by ATF.

Now it's just a matter of getting the flipping US Distributor to order the guns....

It figures the small caliber ones have yet to be approved :D  Would love to have a .22 LR conversion kit to keep the Kadet company.
