What are some good holster options???
« on: November 08, 2012, 10:02:34 PM »
I have been thinking about a shoulder holster, but I'm not sure if that would be better than a good hip carry holster. not looking for IWB holsters.  any input is appreciated.

I don't dig the muzzle sweeping necessary to draw from a shoulder holster.

My Fobus works fine.  It's the model for the .40 cal 75B but mine is a 9mm.  I've heard that the 9mm Fobus is a really tight fit.

I haven't tried an ITAC yet but probably will the next time I'm down in the valley.

My 75B shoulder holster from Tauris Leather is a comfortable, handsome piece of work. I love it.

The Mitch Rosen ones in the dillon catalog are what I use for all my pistols but they're OWB not shoulder holsters.   I've never worn a shoulder holster and would probably not do so unless I rode in the the car all the time,  like maybe I was a dignitaries driver or something.  Different strokes though.  I've heard lots of good things about the Ravens but I've no experience w/ them.
