CZ 75B 40 cal. Range Report
« on: December 12, 2012, 04:50:24 PM »
Hognutz, you were correct. I could have posted my range report before ever leaving the house. Right down to what a finger breaker it is to get those last two rounds in the mag. I put 100 rounds down range and she performed flawlessly. What a pleasure to shoot. This gun has a great trigger for a stock gun. It's right up there with my German Sig P226 right now. And my Sig has had about 2000 rounds thru it, so it's well broken in.
This 75 is a tack driver. bleep this thing is accurate. I am SO impressed with how accurate all my CZ's are. But that little extra size over the compacts or the P's really makes quite a difference at the longer ranges. My 97 BD and Kadet are the same way.
The first target are the first 8 rounds I fired. Distance is 10 yards. For the second I put ten rounds in the mag (ouch..lol) and set it at 15 yards. The pictures speak for themselves. I'll put these stock full size CZ's up against any custom 1911. At least any one that I have shot. These have got to be the best overall handguns on the market as far as I'm concerned.

Nice.   Next thing you need is an UpLULA universal mag loader.   They really do work well.

Very nice!  My 75B .40 is the second most accurate handgun I own (it is the most accurate semi).

I have had the best accuracy with a lead 160 grain RNFP-HP bullet at 1050 fps.

I have shot anywhere between 135 and 180 grain, and the 155-165 seem to be the most accurate for me.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

I have CDO. It's actually OCD but I put them in order like they should be!
