butterknife bolt handles for 527
« on: December 19, 2012, 12:33:46 PM »
I found this guy making handle and ask if was interested in Butterknife handles to make.
he wrote back. However I only need 1. Cant afford 50.

I appreciate your interest in the bolt handles.  There is a possibility we would make a butterknife handle down the road for the CZ 527, however its doubtful that we will get into making parts for the 452 anytime soon.  To make a proper bolt handle for the 452 requires a lot of machine time and therefore the costs would be very high, so much so that I doubt many customers would be willing to spend the money.  On the other hand if you are interested in making a run of them we would entertain the idea if you were willing to commit to a minimum of 50 of them.  There would also be programming costs involved as well that we would have to pass along.  Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in and I would be happy to quote you a price.

Thanks,

Brad S.

Google mannlicher styled rifles. Full length stock and flat butterknife looking bolt handles.

For all interested, they are now offering custom 527 bolt handles, not exactly the butter knife style but the new ones do add scope clearance.  I like the butter knife style myself. Id love to have one or two.
