I would have expected more posts in this thread. I guess that those Caniks aren't seeing a whole lot of shooting. Safe Queens?? I've got to admit, Imine has been a safe queen since my post of 3/16/13. Time to get it out and shoot it. I kind of miss it. It is such a good shooter.

In some areas, ammunition is in short supply.....................particularly for non-reloaders  ;)

We where shooting every week but now winter is upon us in the northeast and here in Easton Pa we are seasonably colder this year with about 6 inches of snow already on the ground and we are getting about 4 more inches today. Looking forward we are expecting several more storms over the next 10 days so outdoor shooting will be restricted to 40 degrees and up weather. The local indoor range will set me back $20.00 a person per hour for 4 shooters that will drain my wallet. Our outdoor range memberships are $35.00 per person a year. We have a new indoor tactical range in Easton now so we will try that out at least once this year maybe twice over the winter. Till March our round counts will be about be limited.

Excellent points by both of you. Its pretty darn cold around here as well, l and I shoot at an outdoor range. I'll still try to get some rounds down the tube and will report accordingly.

We got a forecast of 59 degrees for Friday plus rain but it will be warm enough for me to use the covered pistol range at EFGA in Easton. So at least on Friady I can get some shooting in.

I had around 800 rounds thru mine before I traded it in. The only thing I did was polish the feed ramp so it would feed hollowpoints. I traided it towards a 75b. My first. I actually only lost about 25$ off what I paid for it because my dealer could not find what it was worth. Other than not wanting to feed hollowpoints, it had been flawless. If I had known better I would have come up with all of the money for the 75 and also kept the Canik.

You only shot 35 rounds -go back to the range. i will say that the more we have shot ours the smoother they are getting. We are putting on average 250 rounds thru them every training session  and matches are running 80 to 200 rounds. we have two caniks with over 5000 rounds now with zero problems. We are going to shoot them again this year for IDPA. I am really looking for the P120's to reach the american market. If they don't arrive soon I now I can't resist temptation much longer. I have 2 Cajun Guns Works short reach trigger system kits sitting here dying to jump into some pistols . So maybe 2 more 120 steels or 2 T100's will have to be obtained for builds. Keep shooting those caniks -go out and have some fun!

Yeah Brian, I know, only 35 rounds. :-[ Was shooting it at the rifle range as rifles were the flavor of the day. Next time, I will put it through the paces to see how that aluminum frame holds up. I did shoot some fairly hot reloads through it.

I was just busting your chops, speaking of shooting your pistol on the rifle range I annoy people doing that regularly. I will tie up a bay shooting pistols at 100 yards with my 1911's and some of my 9mm's, the rub is a that I can hit what I am shooting at. My best to date was hitting a 8"wide by 11" high steel plate with my Pa 63 9x18  at 100 yards-it did take me 2 shots to walk it in and get on the plate. For IDPA we practice at 35 to 40 yards max. Pistols are allowed on my rifle range so I will continue my 100 yard sessions a long as my eye will permit.

I've got the luxury of the range being a club range and it is never crowded. No one at the rifle range yesterday beside me and my group. Only 2 of the pistol bays were being used. We have around 15 pistol bays and 1 rifle range out to 200 yds. The only problem this time of year is that it is outdoors and it was in the 20's yesterday afternoon. I do occasionally shoot rifle in the pistol bays as well; obviously, the distances are much less.

Good afternoon all, I have been lurking around this site since I aquired a C-100 in October last year. I bought the gun used at a local gun show after shooting a buddy of mine's. The condition of the gun looked  new and the seller did not have a round count on it. Since I purchased it I have put just over 1300 rounds through it with absolutely 0 malfunctions. That being said, The Wife went with to the range two weekends back and she suffered two ftf's, (failure to feed?) I think she limp-wristed it :o, not sure but I went back last weekend and sent another 150 to meet the paper at the end of the range with no problems. This has become my favorite gun and am looking at more Canik/Tristar products. Oh, and the condition of the gun is still very good with minimal  visible wear except for a spot in front of the grips that took a beating from my wedding ring while shooting lefty. :'(
