P07 Replacement Sights
« on: January 29, 2013, 03:53:23 PM »
So I was one of the many people looking for different sight options for my P07 duty mainly because i carry concealed and the rear sight would stab me in the stomach while driving or bending down

so to make this short i spoke with cz many times and did some measurements and basically you can use any standard cz 75 rear sights as the dovetail is the same size as all the other cz 75's and for the front sight you can use the cz 75b or kadet sight which you can get off of cz's webstore

for my sights i used the cz75b front sight and the #5 rear sight for the cz 75 full size got them both off of the webstore

so for $23 shipped you can get glow in the dark steel sights from cz that dont extend past the rear dovetail

The standard CZ 75 B night sights work as well.

I did something similar this weekend. I bought a set of Hi-Viz sights with green light tubes. What a difference. Took it out today and shot it. Other than needing to get the rear sight centered installation was all that was required.

The sights were $55 from MidwayUSA

Hello all....I'm looking at some 75b sights for my p07. My question is are these guns all shooting to point of aim with your new sights?
thanks, tom

Also, can anyone comment on removing the factory sights from a P-07.  I don't see any pins to punch out and I don't see any tiny allen screws.  What's the trick on the front and rear sight.  Thanks in advance.

New kid on the block...if it sounds stupid, it's because this is my first CZ question. 9 days away from my 75 P-07 Duty 40 and would like to see look into Truglo or Trijicon for day and night use. Yes/no, good bad...like some good feedback for a quality upgrade.
Thanks for looking!

Mines shooting just a bit left too much.  There is rather a punch mark or a alignment mark in the rear sight center top. At first I thought it was a set screw?  But just got glasses and it looks like a punch mark.  Was wondering if there is a tool I could take too range for the cz p07.

You should be able to drift the rear sight with a bed punch.

Based on this thread, I bought some Meprolights Model MP-17777 but have yet to receive them.  Will these work?

I personally like the way the tritium sights on the CZ store are tapered like the original sights but I got a great deal on the Mepro's and couldnt pass it up.

I put a set of Meps on my P07 and it shoots high, ~3-4" at 15 yards. I've got the #4 night sights from the CZ store. Probably not a big deal but it bothered me so I bought a Kadet short .257 front sight which came in the mail yesterday. I have it installed but I haven't taken it to the range yet to verify POI. It will probably be an inch or two low at 15 yards but I would rather be bit low than a bit high. I'll let you know how it shoots and If this front sight works out I'm going to have a tritium lamp installed in it.

If I had known this before I bought the Meps I probably wouldn't have paid the $85 for 'em. Good thing you got them for a good price.

Did you buy the #4 set for the standard CZ 75 ? If so you should have gotten the #5 set.

I dont know exactly as I cant find it on the box.  However when I look at the rear sight, I see imprinted in the center something like ME3 and just below that 5.  I hope that means I got the right one.  Outside of that, the box only says it is compatible with CZ 75/85

Yes, they're the cz75 sights. However, if I had gotten the #5 set my POI would be even higher.

All of the standard cz75 Meprolight night sights use a 6mm #5 front sight. The elevation is adjusted by using different height rear sights. A short rear sight will bring your POI down, a taller rear sight will make it go up. I bought the set with the shortest rear sight offered at the cz store because I knew my P07 would be a bit high, considering it had a #1 front sight from the factory.

To Process:
You have the #5 Meps, they might work just fine for your P07 but they won't for mine. You do have an advantage though, you haven't installed them yet so you might be able to return them if you want.
