Coming soon: New factory cerakote finish Canik models...

Just figured I'd give you guys a teaser here: we got a handful of Canik models in with different color cerakote finishes on them.  The factory sent them on a trial basis so we only have a few, but the colors are titanium, OD green and desert tan.  We'll have them on the Shark C, Shark FC, and S120 models.  I literally just got done editing the stock photos, I'll go ahead and give you all a sneak peak...

I'd say they should be online very soon, next week at the latest.  I think they were just waiting on me to do the pictures.

The color options are nice and I bet they'll be well received. While you've got their ear, the FC in OD and Titanium would be REALLY sharp. Any ETA or word on the Stingray's?

Canik just kind of sends up batches as they get them out, so I can't say for certain when we'll get more Stingrays (or any other models for that matter) but we'll be getting them for sure, don't worry.  I know a lot of people have been asking for the Piranha also so we're working on having that stateside hopefully within the next month or two.

Okay your late to the party I already coat them with cerakote as well as customize them with different sight setups and David from Cajun Gun Works is just finishing a trigger job on a Compact shark model for me ,spoke with him this morning and it should be shipping back to me on Monday.  Just busting on you BS guy we appreciate your efforts ,but speed it up on that piranha model will you. Why is Canik worrying about coatings when their grips and sights are so awful? Maybe someone should mention it to them sometime.

Keeps costs down and many folks customize their guns anyway.  I for one change grips on all my guns.  My Shark FC was wearing new Houges the same day I brought it home.  Sights are next.

The one factory mod I'd like to see is an extended safety.  I have a Shark Compact and love it but I'd like more shelf for my thumb to rest on.  I've heard that the safety is proprietary because of the detent.  If you have the ear of the manufacturer perhaps you could suggest it.

BGSguy, the primary shortfall that I find with the Canik and CZ pistols is the size of the dot on the sights.  At one time small dots was not a probelm for me, but it is now.  My guess is that most of their firearms are made for young guys in the military so they don't receive very many complaints.  Let them know that we Americans keep shooting as we get old, so we need larger dots.  There's no doubt in my mind that they lose sales because of the small dots.

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but where in the world do you buy the Canik products?? I've been searching the net for a Canik-USA website, dealer directory, or whatever,  and I can't find much info. I find one for sale here or there, like Gun Broker and Arms America, but no real main website. Am I missing something obvious?? TIA
