After a late night on Friday, I arrived at the Raleigh Gun Show Saturday a bit later than I intended, about 11 a.m. I proceeded directly to the Classic Arms table where I spotted and picked up the chromed 52 they had on display, looked it over briefly, and said, "I'll take this.". Turns out it was their last one, actually it was the last one out of a second "emergency" run they had done after the first run sold out.
It's still up on the website, but I got the impression they are OUT. I don't know if they'll be doing another run but if they sold that quickly I can't imagine they wouldn't.
Anyway, the example I picked up is a '54, and the chrome job is just gorgeous. I plan on picking up a set of black grips from ZeeBorg on surplusrifle.com, and maybe a set of OD green ones for my grey park CZ52 as well.
I plan on taking some pics tonight, of the chrome CZ and probably of all 3 of my CZ52's together, the chrome, the grey, and the blued with the checkered wood grips.
