Anyone have experience with KentuckyGunCo?
« on: March 15, 2013, 04:29:25 PM »
Ordered a P-01 from them this past Friday. Had my FFL buddy fax over his license. Called up there Tuesday to confirm and they said they didn't have it. He resent it via email Tuesday and I called Wednesday to confirm. They said they had it on file this time. They have a 2-3 week shipping delay, so i'm currently waiting on that. Will the money be taken from my account once it ships? Kind of worried because i've seen multiple reviews saying they received an email canceling their order after a few days of waiting with no prior communication due to incorrect stock on the website.

Anyone had any similar experiences or problems with them? Any smooth transactions?

Guess i'm just looking to ease my mind while I wait. Been looking for this P-01 for over 3 months now and i'm getting anxious.

Their website does to list the P01 as in stock.  Wonder if it is current?

The P-01 isn't in stock on their website... are you looking at the 75 compact? The P-01 has been sold out since the weekend I believe.

They have a 2-3 week shipping delay...

WOW....I hope they don't charge your CC until it ships. They need to get some extra help in shipping.

They haven't charged it yet, so i'm guessing that's how it will be. I'm willing to wait a couple weeks seeing as I haven't been able to find one until last week. Free shipping too.

Just a FYI, they recently moved to a much larger facility right off the Bluegrass Parkway.  It has an indoor range as well.  Be patient, they're good folks to deal with.  They are a major distributor for the area with Bass Pro in Clarksville being a major client.  Busy busy busy!

When I called up there, they seemed very nice and were helpful... even with the high volume and annoying calls they receive.

I'm expecting an overall good transaction.

it took about 18 days for an ar-15 lower to be shipped (a couple weeks ago)....did not charge my cart until it shipped.     in the past before the craziness they were fast to get orders out.  Good company to deal with.
