question about the chamber in a 40B

I would like to reload for my 40B when I get it.  So does the chamber fully support the casing or is it more like a glock?  I've reloaded 38 spl, 357 mag, 7.62 tov, 9 mak and 223 rem.  40 S&W is new to me.  I've heard horror stories about reload glock brass.:eek

CZ chambers are about as "fully supporting" as any you can find -- but you should be able to answer the question yourself by pulling the barrel and dropping a round into it, and just looking.

I have no hesitation reloading for or using brass fired in my .40 caliber CZs and have never had a problem with it. As Walt said the chamber is very well supported with only the slightest indentation for the ramp.

Depending on the quality of the brass, a cartridge case fired in a CZ will fit into a cartridge case guage prior to being resized.

I obtain 40 S&W once fired brass from local LE agency use. Most of the brass comes from Sig'sd but there is some Glock fired brass. I discard all 9mm and 40 S&W braass after 4 reloads.
Never had a problem with my CZ-40B. It digests very reload from very mild to full power with total reliability.

Off topic a little, but I have never heard the horror stories of glock brass first hand.  I have reloaded glock brass multiple times with max loads and have yet to see any signs of pressure or failure.  I am not saying it doesn't happen.  It just hasn't happened to me.
