Anyone shoot limited with a CZ75 or SP-01?
« on: April 05, 2013, 09:19:03 PM »
Just curious. I am kind of torn - having fun getting back into USPSA in production, but would like to shoot L10 or limited as well with a .40 S&W.

Wondering if anyone is having any success in either one with a CZ other than the Tac Sport.
Current CZ list:
SP-01 Shadow
Kadet Kit
CZ75B-SA w/ .40 TS Upper
CZ75B w/ 9MMSA Upper

I shoot USPSA Limited 10 with my CZ 75 P06 in .40sw. I must be honest, it was my first USPSA match. I took second place. It was two of us competing in this division  :)

Once or twice a year, I'll fill my 9mm SP-01 mags to capacity and shoot Ltd-minor.  Rest of the time my CZ is shot in Production div.

If I was to seriously campaign in Limited, I wouldn't consider doing so with a CZ75 or SP-01 in .40. You cannot get enough .40 rounds in a 140 mm mag to be truly competitive with a small frame CZ in that division.  If money was not an issue and it had to be a CZ, I'd opt for a Tac-Sport.

You might do well in L-10 with a .40 cal CZ.
