Finally got to the range with the K2P and it shot very well, 124g and 115g Reloads were no problem. Slide Locked back every time. I was hitting bottles that were set up on the berm at 70yds... I just love hammer fired pistols, they just feel right when you can feel the hammer pull against half cock then finally fire. Trigger pull is getting lighter as I shoot it. I may hold off putting the 14# hammer spring in it.

I purchased a Fobus SG/Pro Holster for CZ SP01, It required a little "Fitting". Had to narrow the trigger retention area due to the poly frame, and shave down the side to fit the width. Cleaned it up and sprayed a little Silicone Lube then wiped it down. Just about perfect now. Great Retention and Doesn't mark the pistol.

You can Load 16Rds into the Factory Magazine, the last round is very tuff. Kind of like my TP9SA tuff... after charging the pistol you are left with 15+1. Speaking of Factory Magazine I do not think it has a Anti-Tilt follower, It would seem to cant slightly when using my magazine loader. Plan on carrying it CZ-75B 17Rd magazines.

Really wanted to buy a CZ-07 but there are so many clones that are very close to the performance at a better value.

Based on all this "love" for the K2P, I got one......  not all that accurate, especially compared to my B6p.  How do I tighten the groups without buying a whole new top end?  I installed a Tanfoglio compact top end from another gun and it shoots a little low, but much tighter grouping, so I know the problem is in the top half of the gun.  Any thoughts?

It all depends on where your hitting, what sight picture are you using and trigger pull. Some issues from DA trigger Pull or SA pull can be solved with a 13 or 14# hammer spring. 14# is what most use for general reliability(setting off most primers), a triple pack can be purchased from Wolff Springs for $8.99+shipping. CZ pistols are very Tune friendly and most areas can be polished to get even better trigger pull results. Most folks use the 14# trigger spring, the DA is in the 8-10# pull range and SA is 4.5-5#. I haven't pulled mine with a scale yet so I have no idea.. SA Its very close to my 4.5# trigger in my AR with the stock hammer spring installed.

If your hitting all over the place it may be the pistol. Start by shooting from a Bench Pistol Rest to determine if its sighted properly. Once Sighted Then sight the pistol for you using your normal stance.

If the group opens up there may be several things happening in your grip, Here is a website to help you identify Point of Aim Errors.
http://www.bullseyepistol.com/training.htm

If its still shooting poor send EAA a message and have them look at it under warranty. There may be an issue with it somewhere else.

Hello, new here and just got a couple quick questions on K2P. First, which specific Hogue grip sleeve are you using? Went to their webpage and there are several variants to choose from. And which magazine runs best? I have looked in my local area and found a couple of after market mags that appear identical to the factory one, just like to get an experienced opinion on how well the ones you have been using work. And yes, I am loving this pistol!! Bought it to replace my Walther P1 as my edc and have no complaints so far. Still looking for a holster for SoB(righthand draw, palm facing out), thinking of getting a custom kydex if I can't find an off the shelf that I like.

Thanks for your help, your review is one that tipped me towards the K2P, and have a great weekend!

This one:  https://www.hogueinc.com/store/products/handall-full-size-grip-sleeve-black/146

My favorite Magazine is the Mec-Gar Cz75B AFC 17 rounder.

For your carry style, consider the TN Outdoors Belt Slide holster, often found on ebay.

FWIW, I used to carry Walther P38's, and still have three.

I'm particular to that type of carry myself, have you considered using a adjustable LH holster to get the cant you need for RH draw instead?

Thanks muchly! And nice set of Walthers, I got mine in order to join the 20th century, carried a Webley .38 or Colt snubbie before that. Figured we are 16 years into the 21st so it was time to update again. Got to mag up, though, hate being short.

Rabble, that is a thought. Going to a local gun show next weekend and see what I can workout.

I was worried that I might not like the gun, so I worked out a deal with my LGS.
I am ordering from CDNN ($279+shipping). If I like it, I pay the $20 to transfer it/file the 4473 and run the NICS.
If I don't like it, the owner puts the pistol in his display case and, when it sells, I get my money back and don't take a loss.

From the tone of most of the reviews, the owner of the LGS will have to order his own.  From the price, he should move a fair number of them as long as nobody picks up Firearms News (formerly Shotgun News).

Right now, my wife and I have matching Walther PPX's (long, but rather funny story) as nightstand guns.  If my wife and I REALLY like this gun, I'll have to buy a second.  Does anybody know if EAA makes threaded barrels?  I understand that this is a compact slide on a full size grip.  How long is the full size barrel?  (is it long enough and would the profile allow me to thread the last 1/2 inch of the barrel and mount a silencer on it?)

Barrel is 3.8 inches long and not long enough past the Slide to thread for a silencer.  So far as I know, EAA does not import any longer accessory barrels for it and there are no aftermarket barrels yet.

Replace K2P barrel with 4.5" B6P barrel?

No can do!  The SAR K2P uses a Chamber Block for Lockup as the SigArms and many other Pistols do.  The B6P uses Locking Lugs just ahead of the Chamber like the original Cz75 and Colt 1911 do. IF you go back to my original post in this thread, you'll see a pic with the SAR K2P barrel outside of the Slide.

I'm really late to this thread I know, I'm looking to buy a couple extra mags for my K2P 9mm and wanted to know if the magazine you're referring to is the 17-rd. 9mm Hi-Cap CZ 75B Mec-Gar Handgun Magazine? If so do you also know of a good dual mag pouch with a paddle that fits these?

For carry, I use the Mec-Gar Cz75B 17 round AFC Magazine.  For Home use, the Mec-Gar Cz75B 19 round AFC gets loaded.

For deals on MecGar mags see Greg Cote: http://gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php

Sorry, don't know of any good paddle Magazine Carriers, as I use a no name IWB Magazine Carrier I found at a Gun Show.
