Cajun Gun Works
« on: May 25, 2013, 04:47:05 PM »
I've found over the years that many in the firearm industry provide above average customer service. But, occasionally you come across a business that goes above and beyond what you would expect and I think they need to be recognized. I found that to be the case with Cajun Gun Works in Louisiana. They specialize in custom made parts to tune the fine CZ pistols. I recently purchased a highly rated front/rear sight set from them and was given excellent instructions both in writing and on the telephone, when I called with questions. The sights turn an already excellent CZ 75B into an even much easier to shoot pistol. There was a minor issue with the rear drift sight, so I called CGW about it. David, the owner, was genuinely concerned about the issue and, even though I won't go into the details, he went far beyond what I expected to make it right. This company is a class act and, as I told them, they have won me over as a customer for life. My next purchase will be one of their race hammer kits and some other things after that. If you don't want to do the work yourself, you can ship your pistol to them and they'll do it all. I'd be more than comfortable doing that, if I didn't like fooling around with stuff myself. I HIGHLY recommend CGW if you're looking to improve your CZ. Here's a link to their site. http://www.cajungunworks.com/

David has me as a customer for life also.

I don't think you'll find too many folks around here that feel much differently.

I bought his hammer kit 3 and some other parts, and when I had some trouble he was right there and stayed with it until things were right.

He's truly a class act.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

I feel exactly the same way and I am in Canada.  Not only is CGW's customer service uncomparable, he pricing and shipping are also.  P.S.  I don't have an autographed hat :)

David at CGW is a horrible person.... ;)

All he ever does is providing great products along with great service, which make you spend money, and then more money.

Ditto to David at CGW.  Lovin my Rami after upgrades.  Great communication and honestly wants you to be happy with your project.
Even took care of me when I, er....lets just say I could no longer use of the new springs he sent me....  Would certainly recommend him, and look forward to dealing with him in the near future.   Now he needs to have a car window decal made up so we can advertise for him..

My first post on this board.   Being new to the CZ i had no idea where to start.   I asked a CZ (nut) how to customize my new purchase and he suggested Ca Guns..  I called and the owner answered, he spend about 5 or 10 minutes helping me and not being a typical rude Gunsmith. I'm sure I asked several stupid questions but he did not insult me or talk down to me.  I plan on sending my gun to him for a few upgrades. If the product reflects his attitude he will have a customer for life.

I wish more gun shops / gunsmiths got it like this man does.

Hate you jaber....

David is a great guy. I'm currently looking for an SP-01 and want work done. I emailed david about sending this future-gun to him and had questions.
He answered every question in great detail, all to a guy who doesn't even have it (yet)
He could have said "We can talk more about this when you have it" or "I'm on vacation"
but instead he gave me all the info I could want and more and was nothing but professional. He has my future business guaranteed.
Not a hat guy...maybe he can sign something else.

+1 The wife loved the CZ but wanted the better trigger pull. The gun range recommended David at CGW. Ever since he went through her gun, I want him to do all of ours! Currently at 3 CZ's, 1 is done, the second is being picked up and shipped straight to him. And come tax return I'll have te funds to do the 97b! He's a grey guy, great customer service, and love the products!

CGW is great.
Called and talked to David a while ago and he had some recommendations that followed exactly what I wanted to do to my 9mm SA.
We went with the Race hammer kit and the short reset kit.
He was waiting on supplies for the reset kit, and expected them in a couple of weeks.
So I had him ship the Hammer kit and when I got the package, I found that he had actually pulled together all the supplies to include the reset kit as well.
First rate service!
