Found a piece of A-MERC brass in my supply. Discarded rapidly. Ritual cleansing of the reloading bench will be held tonight... :o

please forgive my ignorance but what is A-MERC brass and why is it so horrible ?  please post a pic so the uninformed can also dispose of it when spotted.  :)

It is a old ammunition manufacturer.  Head stamp is marked AMERC. It's all brass but complete junk.  Actually had a few pieces go through the sizer and have absolutely no bullet tension.  The brass wasn't split either.  Goes in the scrap brass bin when I see it.

A-MERC has also had off center flash holes in addition to the other lovely qualities listed above. I went right inot the scrap brass bin for disposal at the recycler.
