CZ 527 Carbine in 7.62x39
« on: August 29, 2013, 01:34:25 PM »
I just finished paying off my layaway on this rifle last friday. I've recently shot it with wolf 122 gr. HPs, 123 gr. FMJs, and Tula 154 gr Soft Points. Using a vortex 2-7 scope I am averaging 4.27 cm at 100 meters!!! The single set trigger is probably the main cause of this. It is a joy to shoot, doesn't break the bank and makes a great companion rifle for my AK.

I am very impressed with this rifle and I believe it will become my main hunting rifle for my local hunting (Vermont - short range typically <100 meters and dense brush)

I am purchasing a safari ching sling from Galco and besides that I think I will keep it the same. Eventually I may have the iron sight moved back so I can thread the barrel but for now, I love it. Maybe if I ever get rid of my AK I will rebarrel it in 6.5 grendel.

I could not be happier with my purchase. Thanks for the amazing rifle CZ!!

Having a great time with ours as well, the Aimpoint red dot sight is working well.
