New to the forum and a new 97b owner!
« on: November 02, 2013, 02:54:06 AM »
Started our collection with a 75bd, then a sp-01 both in 9mm as these were our first hand guns and we wanted to be able to afford lots of range practice. As we started loving and personalizing our guns I started looking for a 97bd, but in Cali I could only legally buy a 97b for a FFl so the first one I saw after months of looking I jumped on. Picked it up two weeks ago. Haven't had the chance to hit the range with it yet, but looking forward to it! Just wante to say hi, introduce myself, and let you all know where I'm at so you can throw some helpful info my way! Thanks in advance and look forward to talking to you all soon.

Congrats on the new 97B!

I have been able to shoot about 100 through mine so far and I really like it.  Allot.  I think you are really going to like it.

On another subject I'll race you to the $25 mags!  Thanks on the heads up on that.

Thanks, yeah the 9's are awesome, just hit the gun show this weekend and loaded up on some different ammo to try out on all three. Wife's a surrogate and due on the 8th so pulling double duty at home until then. First date not out we will hit the range for sure. Already talked to David about going theough the 97b once the funds are available. In the mean time talked to Sam at Omega for a set of grips, just waiting on the response to my answer to all his questions. All three of our guns are solid black, so the grips will be a great obvious difference between the three. Either way, thanks for the welcome, and congrats on your new 97 as well Kittum!

Yep, plus I started teaching for my union a couple nights a week and our 3 year old gets more and more interactive every day. Now back to CZ's just bought my fourth after my last reply. Been looking for a 9mm sp01 tactical since the beginning of the year. It was taken off the ca doj list so I figured jump on the sp01 I came across. Turns out a local shop just got one for sale, bought it over the phone, going in tomorrow to fill out the paperwork and start my 10 day waiting period. Thrilled cause this was the gun I wanted first and foremost. So sending the tactical in first to get all the work done on it, then the 97b will get it's turn at the beginning of the year. Gonna sale the sp01 I originally bought then start looking for the 40b I think the wife will like. She liked the Glocks, S&W M&P, and XD's but ended up preferring the CZ in the end. Figured get her a 40cal big brother to her 9mm 75bd. If I can't find one by her birthday next yer I'll just track down a 40 75b. At least I know she'll like that.
