I like the Wedge (looks) or Ring thinking about decocking with thumb and forefinger ---grip surface available.

Wowzers!!!!  I would just need 4 P-09s  O0 O0 O0.

What are the chance on the Wedge being a Tac Sport hammer????
That would be SWEET!!!  Talk about a sexy addition to an already sexy Limited Masterpiece

I like OEM because I like my mods to be somewhat stealthy. Followed by Ring maybe.

I like the Race followed by the Ring.

P.S. Losey likes the same two in reverse order.

I like the wedge. The ring reminds me of an 1911 hammer.

That's a persuasive argument for OEM.  Also, the Ring shape is classic CZ.  I'm not familiar with the feel of the ring hammer on the thumb - is it more ergonomic?

It's all debatable. The ring seems to me to be somewhat comparable to a commander style hammer which many will find familiar and is a fairly well accepted design. The concave style of the spur and the wedge may just bee a little too aggressive and unfamiliar for me. In the end, I am happy with the look and feel of the OEM so I figure why change it? I am a simple monkey.

Id prefer OEM with re cut hooks for SSP/Production and THEN the ring.  The ring should allow easy manual decocking.

All I REALLY care about is the hammer/sear interface.  Maybe CGW can safely eliminate some of the creep.  I'm afraid to touch the stock parts.

I shoot IDPA and would like to stay in SSP when I find a p-09 for sale. Which would mean a custom hammer is fine as long as it is externally the same. Stuart and a couple others had the same thought and my main follows those lines.  Otherwise the designs are all great but they would also put you in ESP.  Same thing with the CZ 75 race hammers. I've messed with a few and the break is crisper than the comp hammers but a no go for SSP IDPA. Any thoughts?  Or, David will you be able to mod the factory hammers to recreate the custom feel?
