I will say though, that reloading for the 7.62x39 cartridge has given me a new appreciation of it's accuracy potential. I like blasting away with the cheap surplus ammo as much as the next guy, but it's pretty satisfying to see nice tight groups across all three of my 7.62 rifles ;D

Considering a CZ 7.62x39 mini mauser bolt rifle/carbine to fulfill that remaining 10-15% -- primarily in regards to accuracy at distances to 400 yards as well as a capable woods and brush deer hunting system (only w/in 200 yards, ideally 100)...  Think similar to a 30-30 replacement.

A Mini-Mauser in 7.62x39mm is on my "wants" list!

Yep, I'm looking at the CZ 527 carbine model: http://www.cz-usa.com/products/view/cz-527-carbine/

$150 to $200 expensive than the Zastava M85 Mini Mauser, but I think worth it.
