You guys use hardcast bullets or swaged bullets?

Cast of appropriate hardness.

My barrel slugged a hair over .355.

Measured with a micrometer or a caliper?

Excellent!  You should be GTG with .357's.

Will order up some sample packs in ..357
Is N320 still a good choice? Also have W231, Unique, N330, and Red Dot

I'd pick the 231 or VV N320

I don't like Unique for anything less than close to max loads.
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

I think my favorite powder in 9mm so far is the wsf. I haven't been able to find the vv powders so can't say on that.

Since N320 burns coolest I may stick with that.

Agree with that and would add 7625.

IMR SR-7625 is a single base that's about the same speed as N330, which will run cool and clean. It's not nearly as popular as 231 so it should be much easier to find.

Forgot! Have 1/2 pound of 7625 left. Nice Powder!

That is the other powder I am looking to test. Let us know how you like it riptide. I have been following the other thread on it but no real mention on recoil for the 7625. I need something soft feeling so I can get back on target faster. I'll be watching with interest.

IMR's faster "little brother" to 7625 goes by the name of "PB". I've been trying to get my hands on PB for testing, but there's only one local store with it in stock. Guess I'll need to order some.

PB is also the cleanest powder in 9mm I have ever found. I don't care about clean, but when virgin brass comes out as clean after firing as it was when  loaded, I know the powder is clean.

I think I saw some pb at one of my local gun shops. I'll have to see.

Bear Creek Bullets makes a 135g rn moly coated .356 that's popular with the crowd I shoot with.  Dirty on the fingers to load but clean shooting.  Can't order online (so I've heard), phone orders only.  I buy from a local distributor.
