You put a HandAll on your Phantom? Interesting, and yes, I see an abundance of race hammers. :)
Nice pic, thanks for sharing!

It was challenging.  All have external hammers.

It seems like CZ's and wheelguns go together well.  My personal handgun interest is in CZ's and S&W revolvers.  I try not to be brand myopic, but it happens sometimes!   ::)

As you can see, I like finger-grooves.  In a perfect world they would all have them but I can't seem to find or modify any for the RAMI.

I'm looking for another snubby.  I am leaning towards a model 40 because they are so unique.  Who knew a Smith snubby had a grip safety?

The grip safety goes WAAAAAAAAY back to the Lemon Squeezer's of the 1880's.  The proper name would be the .32 or .38 Safety Hammerless.  It was later adapted to the J frame to make the model 40 and 42.

I'm just beginning my wheelgun journey.  Thanks for the info.  Very cool gun you have there.

Oh, that one's not mine.  It's just one I lifted off Gunbroker.

This IS my 1903 Hand Ejector 4th Change (mfd 1914).  It's an I frame (pre-J frame) in .32 S&W Long.  It's all numbers matching except for the grips, which are period correct S&W Target grips.

And an old pic of my 686-5 (1999-2000).  This was the last 686 before the internal locks came around.  It's also the last rendition with the 8 3/8" barrel.  I tuned the action and it is around 1 lb SA trigger pull.  ONLY functional with hand seated Federal primers.  This thing's a TACK driver!

Ooh, very nice.  I just wanted an ultra-reliable pocket gun and it has taken me into a new obsession.  I am trying to resist.
