Just got the tabbed bolt carrier back from Forced March- great service, weld looks nice, clean and solid. He also caught a problem I hadn't noticed with the striker, so much thanks for that! Haven't tested out the fix yet, trying to get to the range this weekend, but it looks as good as I've seen on the rest of the net!

Thanks man, much appreciated!

Thanks for the comments guys!  I'm getting this down to a science.

I provide the tabs as they aren't available commercially.   :-\

I got my two tabbed carriers back from Morgan.  His service was great and the carriers/tabs look superb.  I mailed them on 3/11 from FL and got them back on 3/24.  Now for some range time ;D

Here's a dumb question....why do want the bolt carrier to be "tabbed?"

I really like the bolt release. Do you sell those yet?

Here's a dumb question....why do want the bolt carrier to be "tabbed?"

There are no dumb questions here, so ask away.

For background on the Bolt Problem some people are having, see this thread: http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=60834.0

I've not had issues yet (knock on wood), but I think it is interesting to know how to fix the problem, should it arise.
Hence, I determined that this thread should be a sticky for the present.

Thanks!! I did the "test" and my bolt and carrier stay cocked so I guess I'm good.

Greetings Everyone,

Morgan did a tab for me as well and I must say that it is everything he stated it would be.  Total turn-around was about a week (which included Saturday and Sunday).  Mine dropped right in and functioned exactly as stated.   I will attempt to get to the outdoor range (Weather Permitting) next week and bust a few caps to test the Live Fire Functionality and perhaps post a report.  Morgan is a spot on professional and I would not hesitate to conduct business with him in the future.  Now my VZ2008 is Good 2 Go thanks to Morgan!  :)  It's the best 50 Bucks I ever spent!  :o

Morgan,  Fantastic job, received your weld on the bolt carrier side plate (tab) and the extended bolt release.  No problem with the install with your assistance,  Very professional, with the Ambi mag release (thank you RSR), the bolt carrier fix and the extended bolt release It is one smooth puppy,  Makes running the Vz a joy and a smoother less problematic manual of arms.  I recommend your work highly.  By the way it was a five day turnaround.
