Did you leave the barrels black? I never got why Tristar did that, IIRC the Caniks are all polished (or chromed?). Same as any other CZ/IWI/Tanfoglio pistol I've seen. Polishing them just makes them look...'right.'

Those are already some sweet looking pistols, though. Interested to see what kind of coating they're getting.

Both pistols are  done and fully assembled and functioning. We are about to take the last of the photos and then I will head home for some dinner and we will work on getting them posted for you guys.  I also included the final version of my shark compact . Since i will be keeping these first two P120's I coated them in colors that I like . The hard chromed pistol was coated in a custom cobalt mixed color and a custom silver for the parts. The other one was coated in armor blacked with custom mixed silver to match my custom shark compact. The Cajun trigger are creep free with a very light clean break. The reset is not as short as I would like but it is a big improvement over the stock canik trigger setup. I should be able to produce some nice shot groups. Double action pull is much better as well. The hard chromed one gave me some issues today ,I was not able to reuse the trigger pin which is a roll pin. I had to fab a trigger pin from my stock of solid hardened pins and i lost the one set screw for the trigger so i will have to get a replacement tomorrow The Cajun Gun Works trigger kit is a major improvement over the stock Canik setup , but this does require some fitting and modifications to the safety and in both of my pistols my sear cages had to be modded to allow the parts to fit properly and function smoothly. If you are not handy and patient then this is a job best left to Dave at Cajun Gun Works or someone like myself. I am heading home now for dinner and then we will start uploading the photos  that we took today . I will be back on tonight with photos

Your guns turned out great, I like the VZ grips, same color that my 75BD wears.

as soon as my son gets back this afternoon we will retake the photos of the custom mixed cobalt gun , right now i am on hold with pa pics system for the next 46 mins -that's my estimated time to complete one gun transfer so i have time to answer any question while I am stuck with the phone to my ear. Last week they upgraded our background check system and on Saturday I started to call in at 10 in the morning and was not able to complete that transfer ti 5:49 pm guess lats week's upgrade did not go so well.  I am dying to shoot these two P120's the triggers are so light that there is no muzzle flinch when you pull the triggers.

While I like how the triggers came out I know we can get the single action reset shorter I just left a message for Dave to send me two of his T3 disconectors I will hand fit them to get the trigger reset as short as possible. Meanwhile till the last two parts arrive for them I will still get to the range tomorrow for some test shooting. I should have these pistols they way I want them by next Monday, In fact I think I will get a third one for my shark compact and shorten up the reset on that one as well. Final pics of the cobalt pistol coming soon.
