Thanks...ca;;ed CZ USA and the girl on the line said no way to get a polished blue nor any way to order one in the future...very short over the phone

I don't know but if colt would refinish one in there high gloss royal blue that's the way I would go.

Well decided to try my hand at this so will see how it turns out. Doing this to a pre B right now I've got the slide polished up to 15k grit and man does it shine. I'd take some pics but my PC is down so I'm not sure how to do it from my android.

Frame looks like its gonna be a pain in the butt but I'm sure with enough time I'll get it done.

Figured it out. Just taken with my phone so not the best. As far as I know u can't use stainless but if you could that would be great.

That's what I was thinking. I went there yesterday, but didn't see any. I could pm them and ask what the deal is. I wonder if it's a special production run like what Ruger did with Lipsey's on their Royal Blue GP-100's.

I'm sure you could still get ahold of some new old stock even if they did stop making them. Personally I just wanted to see if I could do it and hopefully do it better. I stopped at 15k so will see how that compares to cz's glossy blued but if you have the time you could go up to 100k not sure it would be worth the extra time and money tho.
