New Baby

Took the plunge today and bought a 40 semi-compact BE polymer, I used to own a steel one years ago and always regretted selling it. Nice gun and have put a couple hundred rounds through it without a hitch. It's nice to be back.

I am new to the  baby eagle just got my first a full size steel frame 9mm .
How do you like the plastic frame compared to the steel ? Hows the recoil on the 40s ?

The steel is built like a tank and has the best grip of any gun I've had, I really liked it but wanted the option of using it for ccw and for me it was just too heavy. The poly is a lot lighter but I like the steel grip better, I shoot reloads probally 99% of the time so I can choose how bad the recoil can be. I'd say the steel would be less recoil due to the higher weight. Man these pistols are great and I got this one for under 500$........Hard to beat! 8)
