Thanks DB.
You are absolutely correct in all aspects. 5,600 rifles in 4 years is a very small number in the firearms business here in the USA. When you compare vz.58 rifle sales to AR-15 and AK type rifle sales in the USA, the vz.58 doesn't even move the needle on the scale. Even though the vz.58 is a great rifle, the majority of military-type rifle owners are not interested in it. And, the few people who are interested in venturing outside of the AK or AR-15 world will often refer to the internet for vz.58 information.

http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=49783.msg300395#msg3003955,600 4 years = 1,400 rifles per year.
So through 2012 plus 2013 and 2014 = 8,400 continuing the trend across 6 years.
And doubling sales the most recent 2 years would be 11,200 over 6 years.
There were some rifles in country before Czechpoint w/ CZ-USA/Dtechnic markings, but uncertain how many...
Again, supporting the proposition that we've had a substantial increase in VZ58s and variants in one year due to the VZ2008 deals...
