A couple of old warhorses.
« on: March 30, 2014, 08:30:01 AM »
A couple of old warhorses I recently acquired.  They may not be beautiful but they are reliable and quite handy to have around.

CZ 82 (top) and the Polish Army P-64.  Who says you can't buy a quality handgun for $300?

I have the same pair.

P-64 great pocket carry gun in summer.  Mine is complete with the legendary DA trigger!

Daisy lever BB gun.

Not listing my guns here anymore.

Let the government figure it out!

Lots of rocks and stones, and pretty good with a slingshot!

Legendary indeed.  I think there may be ways of improving that.  I'm going to do some research and see what I can come up with.

Same here! I sent both of mine to Ron Mahovsky for his "Metalife" hard-chrome, installed Marschal oiled walnut grips, and got pocket holsters for both from Robert Mika.

These haven't even got through the qual process for carry or defensive use yet.  I might have them cerakoted if they prove themselves.  I've bought Marschals for a 82 before but will probably just buy some slip on grips for these two.  Neither will ever be anything more than a backup carry or a stash gun in the house.

Double action on the P-64 can be helped some by a 17 or 18 lb Wolff hammer spring.  The heaviest recoil spring isn't a bad addition either.

Nice pair, and I think they are beautiful.  Beautifully rugged, well made, reliable, and a blast to shoot!

Thanks for the info.  I hadn't gotten around to researching the springs yet.  I intend to make some spring changes on both guns just need to do a little reading to determine what to change and which new ones to buy.
