You just need to charge more.    $9 margin on something like this is too low.   I bet you could get $59 for a front site.   Advertise on a few more forums and I bet you can get 50 pre-orders real fast.
Don't mistake my high post count for knowledge or wisdom.   I just like hearing myself type.

I certainly could justify $59.00 dollars a front sight  for guns that are not mainstream, but I believe that I would not get enough orders to get those sights into production at that price point. If Sar Arms expands their market share and the number of models available in the US and sees an increase in sales that will lead to an increase in aftermarket parts and accessories for their guns on its own.  Currently their total annual gun sales in the USA are a drop in the bucket. Sar has taken a step in that direction by pulling away from EAA.  Guy's like Dave  Milham at Cajun gun works and myself  tend to specialize in certain type of firearms and that has directly led to additional aftermarket parts for CZ's and Caniks.
I would like to see this happen for Sar pistols as well which is why I have already started work on trigger and hammer and sear components. I believe that Sar pistols will increase in popularity and there will be a demand for additional parts and services, but that won't happen overnight.
Two and a half years ago if you would have told me that I would own over 15 Sars and Caniks I would have told you that your crazy. In fact I own more of them than CZ's currently. They make pretty good pistols for a reasonable cost and that was definitely a  consideration when I purchased the first one. Once I found out how well they shot that's what led me to see how I could improve them. I enjoy working on these pistols and again this year we will shoot several of them in IDPA. I am sure that guys like Dave and I will continue to come up with new ideas and parts for firearms that we like to tinker with.
Shortly here at EFR we will adding new equipment and inventory so that we can continue to grow our business and offer additional services, if I can squeeze any money out of my expansion I could possibly do  a sight run then. I real issue is knowing if and when there will be a demand for the sights, it would definitely be a gamble if I finance this on my own dime. Not the best solution.
I am only on two forums now because frankly I just don't have the time to spend online. having someone to promote the idea would be a plus!

Got a call from Brain today.    He received my K2 45 last Thursday and it's new sight is already to go.   The only reason it's not already on it's way back to me is that I asked him what he thought the time line would be for him to do a trigger job on one of these and he said a month or so.   To save the shipping, I can live with that.  This gun will be fun for L10 and CDP.
