Is it possible to get email notification?

Is it possible to get email notification when "out-of-stock" item becomes available on your website ?

We really have no way within her system to make those notifications, maybe one day with custom software it could be possible.
Or just do more mail out, but I hate doing that too much. I am sure I hate spam as much as anyone.
