First range session with my new shadow
« on: May 14, 2014, 06:43:56 PM »
Took my new SP-01 Shadow to the range today, wow what a nice gun. It's had a quick polish job done, and the trigger feels a lot better than other SP-01's I've handled.
I put 110 rounds down range, and started to get a feel for the gun. Really looking forward to getting more experience with this one.

Didn't really get to taking a lot of photos, but here's one.

Here's a target, this is at 25 yards. I'm pulling the shots down and left it seems, gotta work on that...

Very good looking pistol.

Any future improvements planned?  Lighter springs?  Short reset disconnector?

Yes, i've got some plans ;)
Further polishing, lighter springs at first. I'm getting into IPSC and the production class, so i think bigger mods are out of the question.

Sorry,  I forgot you were in Norway and will be shooting IPSC competition/rules.
All "INTERNAL" mods are production class legal in USPSA.

I guess a CZUB pre-b disco(shorter reset) would be production legal.
I gotta look that up.

Found this on Ebay, don't think it'll see much use on there, but fun gadget nontheless.

The gun has now had about 500 rounds through it, and it's all starting to break in. You can definatly feel a difference in smoother function and trigger pull, especially in DA.
Loving it so far, new springs should arrive before the weekend. Looking forward to that :)

I don't usually like two-tones.

I like the Beretta 92 in two-tone.  I also like yours!!  Very nice!!

Wow, that gun is pretty!  As much as I like shooting my P-09, it will never completely replace my all metal guns.
