Didn't work for my brain, couldnt balance them easily and the fine compression of the X balancing didn't work as well as "Square" in the "u" for my brain.
I prefer the Trijicon HDs.
I fell into this camp too. I really wanted to like them but I found I struggled too much trying to get the precision I was accustomed to. The lack of a distinct pattern of alignment was too much of a hurdle for me, especially shooting at any distance or on a clock.
I ran an Ameriglo ProGlo front with a plain rear for several years after giving up the the Big Dots - now I typically run a red fiber front with a plain rear on everything. That has proven to be a super fast pairing to pick up while still providing precision for shots at distance.
