These are Mec Gar which are great but they also have the stock CZ mags too

All 97 series magazines are made by Mec-Gar, regardless of any external markings.  The OEM mags were even marked "Mec-Gar" for many years.  The newer ones seem to fit better, so the ones sold as "Mec-Gar" probably have the gap you will see in all of my photos.

I knew that about the 75's but didn't know about the 97, ;)

No worries.  I still haven't been able to find anyone else with a '98, but who has actually tried all of the magazine variants.  To this day, I'm not 100% positive if the newer OEM style will alter the gap enough to justify the purchase.  I know it won't completely eliminate it, so I've been too cheap to try.   :-[

I call it the "Bohemian Eagle."

I have a good carry holster (Ken Null Speed Scabbard, as depicted in other threads), but I've never really carried it on a daily basis.  I prefer a snub.

IMHO, the 97B is the perfect "hip gun."  A 97B treated as a SA pistol doesn't really need much modification, if any.
