Sorry but your post doesn't really tell us much other then the
obvious.

The gas block is supposed to be pinned to the barrel.

Where is the pin? Is it still there?
Was the gas piston spring in receiver?
Did you take it apart before you fired it?
Did you use any oil while shooting it?

What type of vz is this? If century I would return it

If it was a Czech Point I'd return it.

I removed the pin in a attempt to see if I could put it back in place myself but I do not think I can
, the spring was there but I have removed that also, I took it apart and cleaned it before firing and I did use oil.

Stuff like this is a critical failure and should be returned to Century.  Since you tried to "fix" it, they could under terms of their warranty, void said warranty.

Well we'll see all I have done is remove pins for the SAB arms handguard I got, so I doubt they would void it even if it is still under warranty.

My point is just to put everything back ot stock and then take pictures, etc, before sending to Century.

Century will make it right. They better!!!

I personally have never seen a Gas Block do that on a rifle.
Anything is possible though.

I would just go ahead and send it back for a replacement.
I'm not really sure what happened there but It's not your fault
and you deserve a differently rifle.

It's unfortunate but every once in a while someone gets a " lemon"
and it's not contained to the firearms industry.

Be as descriptive as possible, send good pictures
and tell them you want a NEW ONE.

RSR is right.  The gas block moved without your tinkering, but if you get the wrong guy on the receiving end, and he's having a bad day, he might hold your attempt to fix it against you.

Hopefully that gets fixed by Century.

You may run into someone nice on the phone and they'll fix it regardless. But we don't know how old or when you bought your rifle. Since, unless Century has changed things. The warranty starts when the gun is sold to a distributor. Not sold to you.
