The Ruger is a fine shooter, too. But, the Volquartsen hammer and sear in mine have some creep that I need to eliminate, and the feeding is not as reliable as the Kadet. I got out my Ruger and SIG last Wednesday and shot them instead of the Kadet and P-09 and I shot them both very well. Shot a 100 slow fire pace at 25 yards on a B-8c target (not the same as a regular slow fire target) with the Ruger. But, the trigger definitely needs some work. I may do that over the Christmas break. The SIG felt very good and I shot it well also.
Funny. I shoot best when I am not thinking about an upcoming match or have any preconceived notions about how "well" I should shoot a particular target. There is a lesson here, I think.
