I can't say enough positive about my experience with Automaticaccuracy.net Matt Mink was totally incredible to deal with, did execptional gunsmithing, and a fantastic trade in value for me...I have dealt with CZC, CGW, and now AA..... Matt is equally on top with the other two, thanks again Matt for the DW Specialist!

I'm not getting any pleasure from writing this but I feel that people need to hear this. I've been dealing with CZC for many years and it's been an absolute pleasure. Unfortunately last year SP01 Shadows were hard to come by and I needed another Shadow so I decided to order one from AA even though the price was a bit high $1500. They seemed very professional and pleasant to deal with. So after waiting a few month I finaly had my gun shipped to me and that's where everything went south. The gun was lacking a lot of things that I got accustom to with CZC Shadows. It looked like a regular Shadow that had few parts slapped on and called Shadow Custom. So I sent the gun right back to them and wrote a letter apologizing for sending it back and asking to do extra work for which I was going to pay them extra for. To my amazement I recieved a letter from Mink flipping out about the fact that I sent the gun back and stating that they will not do any business with me in the future and issued a refund. They did not contact me to find out what the problem was they just acted like bunch of drama queens and wouldn't even respond to my messages. I was very happy with their decision because by that time CZC got them back in stock and I was able to order it and even saved $200. I believe that even if I did something wrong and didn't follow the proper protocol for returning the gun back to them it could've been discussed and straitened out with a simple call or email instead of flipping out and refusing to do business, and what happened to the fact that the customer is always right especially when he's paying more money for extra work. I've compared more than a few of AA's so called "Custom Shadows" with CZC guns and its night and day. Even their owners agreed that they were not as good CZC guns for the price that they payed but that's not the point. I felt that if I was paying top dollar for a so called custom gun that's what I should get, anyone can slap grips, sights, hammer and trigger on a Shadow but that doesn't make it "Custom". I even wrote them another email trying to figure out what went wrong and settle our differences only for the sake of other guys in my club who do business with them and were somewhat affected by their decision but again I didn't get any response. So in conclusion as far as I'm concerned this is not the shop I would recommend and would thay away from them.

I had two really good experiences with AA.  I bought a RAMI BD from them and then asked them for the full on action job.  I wound up liking the trigger more than my CZC SDP!  I also had a CZ 97 shipped to them and as a result got rid of all my other DA/SA .45's.  I do also love my SDP and am getting an Accu Shadow Blk from the custom shop, too.  I was sorry to see CZ Junkie's report of a bad experience with AA, however.  I am blown away (pun intended) by the shooting characteristics of these pistols.  Well worth the high price and simply heads and shoulders above HK, Sig, et al.  I guess in this day and age of instant reportage on the net, that one would inevitably find negatives about a company one has done business with in the past.  My only hope is that bad experience was a true aberration.
