Very nice.  Which of the fore end covers do you like best?

Of the two we have I prefer the fab one on mine over the quad rail on my wife's. To get to her piston you have to take out 4 screws, whereas mine is just the takedown pin.

Appreciate that pointer.  I like the look of the FAB Defense one better too.

Has anyone mounted a light directly to the barrel?  If so, I'd like to see a picture of that setup.

The one on my wife's rifle (black) is a storm works (?) Adapter. I can't remember the manufacturer of the one on my rifle but I did get it from a fellow member on this forum so maybe they will chime in? I can tell you I do like the one on my rifle better because it has an ambi sling attachment whereas the storm works on my wife's rifle does not, it doesn't have a sling attachment at all.

Is it one of the Rauche Tactical ones?

FWIW, wish they still made this.

Yes RSR, that's exactly what it is! It is way better than the storm works adapter.

Very nice. I plan on doing one of my VZ2000s like this.  Cone style muzzle attachment (purchased, but not yet attached) on the VZ2000 original Czech barrel, and stock bi-pod (on the way from RSR) with the original Czech BB furniture. The only thing missing would be the long optics rail that hangs over the stock.
