P02s are very hard to find.  They do pop up once in a while.

But I am confused as to what you are after.  You say you love the steel frames but the P02 is alloy.  I don't understand the requirement for a decocker for carry.  I also don't understand why you are looking for a DA/SA gun if it "doesn't sit well for carry"?

steel frame compact with decoker would be ideal in my mind for carry..i could live with the PO2 (nearly impossible to get and alloy) or live with the sa/da compact 75 with steel frame...thanks for your response

Compacts are pretty easy to find.  Their price has fallen below $500 in many cases.

Why not a P01 if you want a decocker.

Good stuff.

The only CZ that has a steel frame & decocker is an SP01 Tac

You could also learn how to decock manually like thousands do in USPSA/IPSC Production and IDPA SSP when using safety equipped CZs

Such an awesome pistol! I bought mine a few months ago. I had fancier 9's (Sigs), but this one is just as accurate (if not more so) and just has more personality.

well my CZ's mated and had an offspring..momma (aka SWMBO-she who must be obeyed) decided she did not want the PO1 (whatever reason women decide upon-had to cancel the order)..so I snagged her a PO7 from Damascus gun shop for a paltry $420 (on sale)..in the end this worked out as I really want a P0-1 for me from that beefsteak customizer guy in arizona (that guy builds art in my opinion)..granted cz custom art is not cheap but I can justify the cost (my life or loss of my life)...she should be happy (for now)..god speed

The 97 can have a rail put on, and the P01 has one. ;D
