Has anyone ever bought or priced the bayonet for this pistol? I was checking out the motherland's home page and seen it mounted on the gun and thought it was different looking.

I was wondering if it was leagle and how much it was, granted I would rather have another mag full of ammo versus using a bayonet. We all buy useless crap for our guns we my never use but hey, it looks cool!

Bought one of the CZ bayo/tactical block rigs for about $100. I don't deny the bayo will be useless, but I like the idea of the tactical block as a way to add a little extra weight up front (admittedly to an already front-heavy gun). Anyway, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! ;)

I think this thing was, from the first, a marketing gimmick.

If I were in combat or in a situation where I had to use a knife (because my weapon was either empty or not functioning), I would NOT use it mounted on a handgun.  It would be in my  hand -- where I could control things better.  Having it mounted on the gun complicates matters and limits options.

I think the tactical blcok is a highly impractical device -- but amazing for the chutzpah it took for introduce it... <grin>

I agree Walt.....totally impractical............buuuut having said that, If I could buy just the block without the knife, I'd buy it! I always carry a spyderco of some sort so the bayonet would be unnecessary, but the block would be sweet. I don't think I 'd ever have to break a window with it (you never know), but the added weight up front would make follow up shots even easier than they already are with the Sp-01.

Take care, Mike Arnold
