Anyone seen an Airsoft SP-01?
« on: May 30, 2006, 08:29:42 AM »
I've been wanting an airsoft gas blowback gun to practice and have fun with in my basement, but I have only been able to find 1 CZ-75 model and it is the older Pre-B style with the pointed hammer but does have 26 round mags.  I wish that someone would make an airsoft SP-01 or P-01 in at least a spring powered design if not a gas blowback.  There are tons of Glocks, 1911's and Sigs out there but only one style of CZ pistol.  Since the SP-01 is relatively new, is there any chance that a company will produce an airsoft SP-01 or is it just not popular enough to warrant production?

I may just end up picking up the CZ-75 model I found for $99 + ~$35 for each magazine.  I can find cheaper airsoft 1911's and Glocks but I figure that I might as well buy what I shoot the most and that is my CZ SP-01.

I have asked the same question in the "airsoft" section of the Global Village - which covers Asia/Japan:

www.ipsc.org

No SP-01 so far. If you want a CZ-75 copy, look here:

www.airsplat.com and also
www.wgcshop.com

If anyone finds an SP-01 airsoft, please post it here so we all know about it.

Air Splat dosn't carry CZ75 airsoft pistols, I've been looking there.  The only other place that sells them besides the other link you posted is EHobbyAsia through their Ebay store for $99.

Why does no one make a current CZ75 version or a P-01?  There is definitely a market but it may just not be large enough.  I might just have to get a 1911 or an HK or something

The Danish company makes a pre b version of the CZ 75, I spoke to them at lenght about making a more up todate version, similar to the SP01 they are "thinking about it"
